Getting Started

Add your Google Review Link to UpBlick so customers can continue to the correct Google review page after interacting with your review collection flow.

This guide explains how to find the link, add it to the correct business location, and test it before sharing it with customers.

What is a Google Review Link?

A Google Review Link opens the review form for a specific business location on Google. Each location may have a different link.

UpBlick does not replace Google Reviews. It uses this link to connect your UpBlick review workflow with the correct Google business listing.

Why add your Google Review Link?

  • Send customers to the correct Google review page.
  • Avoid asking customers to search for your business manually.
  • Keep review requests, QR codes, and other review tools connected to the correct location.
  • Reduce the risk of customers reviewing a different branch or similarly named business.

Before you start

Make sure you:

  • Have already added the business location to UpBlick.
  • Know which Google Business Profile belongs to the location.
  • Can access the Google account used to manage the business profile if you need to copy its review link.

How to add your Google Review Link

Step 1: Copy the review link from Google

Sign in to the Google account used to manage your business. Search for your business name or search for my business.

On the Business Profile panel, select Ask for reviews or Get more reviews, then copy the link provided by Google.

Step 2: Open Locations in UpBlick

From your UpBlick dashboard, select Locations in the sidebar.

Step 3: Manage the correct location

Find the business location whose review link you want to add, then select Manage.

Check the business name and address carefully when your account contains multiple locations.

Step 4: Add the Review Link

On the Manage Location page, open the Settings tab. Paste the link into Review Link.

You can also confirm that the Google Map URL belongs to the same business location.

Step 5: Save the link

Select Save Changes. UpBlick displays a confirmation after the location settings are updated.

Step 6: Test the link

Open the saved Review Link in a new browser tab. Confirm that it opens the Google review form for the correct business name and location.

What happens next?

The selected UpBlick location now uses the saved Google Review Link in its review collection setup. Customers can continue from UpBlick to the appropriate Google review page when the workflow provides that option.

Tips

  • Use the link supplied for the exact Google Business Profile location.
  • Test the link before sending review requests or printing QR materials.
  • Test each location separately when your business has multiple branches.
  • Check the link again if the Google business listing changes.

Troubleshooting

Paste the complete URL, including https://. Remove any spaces before or after the link, then select Save Changes again.

Return to Google and copy the review link for the correct business location. In UpBlick, confirm that you are managing the matching location before replacing the link.

Confirm that you are signed in to the Google account used to manage the business and that you opened the correct Business Profile. The wording or position of the review-link option may vary in Google’s interface.

Return to the Settings tab, paste the valid link, and select that tab’s Save Changes button. Wait for the success confirmation before leaving the page.
