Google Business Profile Data Policy

This Google Business Profile Data Policy explains how UpBlick accesses, uses, stores, discloses, and protects Google user data and Google Business Profile-related data when you connect your Google account or authorize Google API access within the Services.

1. Authorization Requirement

UpBlick accesses Google data only after a user with appropriate authority expressly authorizes the connection. You may only connect Google accounts, business listings, and locations that you own or are authorized to manage on behalf of the relevant business owner or client.

2. Categories of Google Data We May Access

Basic account and profile information needed for authentication, identity confirmation, and permission management.
Business Profile account and location identifiers, business details, categories, hours, and location metadata.
Review and rating data, review response status, and related reputation management information.
Other Business Profile-related data made available by authorized API scopes and necessary to provide approved user-facing functionality.

3. Purposes of Use

UpBlick uses authorized Google data only for legitimate user-facing functions within the Services, including:

User authentication and account linking.
Displaying business profile, location, review, and reporting information.
Supporting review monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and authorized profile management workflows.
Troubleshooting, synchronization integrity, security monitoring, and service support.

4. Limited Use Commitments

We do not sell Google user data or Google Business Profile data.
We do not use Google data for advertising, including targeted, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
We do not use Google data to build, train, or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models unrelated to the user-facing features requested by the user.
We do not disclose Google data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Services, comply with law, protect rights or security, or support operations through bound service providers.

5. Storage and Retention

We retain Google-derived data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested features, maintain account continuity, satisfy security, backup, audit, and legal obligations, and comply with applicable Google terms and policies. Where Google policies impose specific limitations on caching or storage for particular classes of content, we intend to handle such content in accordance with those restrictions.

6. Review Replies, Listing Changes, and Client Transparency

If you use UpBlick to manage Google Business Profile content on behalf of another business or end client, you remain responsible for obtaining the necessary authority for review replies, listing updates, question responses, or other actions. You also remain responsible for providing any client-facing notices required by law, contract, or Google policy.

7. Security Controls

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect Google user data and connected account credentials, including access controls, encrypted transmission, restricted internal access, and monitoring intended to detect misuse or unauthorized access.

8. Revocation and User Control

You may revoke UpBlick’s access to your Google account at any time by disconnecting the integration within the Services or by removing UpBlick’s access through your Google account permissions. Revocation will prevent future access, although certain records may remain for backup, legal, fraud prevention, accounting, and audit purposes as permitted by law and applicable policy.

9. No Endorsement

Use of Google APIs by UpBlick does not imply any partnership, endorsement, certification, or approval by Google beyond any rights expressly granted under applicable Google terms.
