This page provides an overview of how UpBlick approaches privacy, security, and regulatory compliance. It is intended as a high-level summary and should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Cookie Policy, Data Safety page, Payment Safety page, and Google Business Profile Data Policy.
1. General Approach
UpBlick is designed to support responsible handling of business, customer, review, and integration-related data. Our controls and policies are intended to align with commonly applicable privacy and security expectations; however, compliance obligations depend on the facts of each customer’s use case, geography, and regulatory exposure.
2. GDPR
Where the GDPR applies, UpBlick aims to support lawful processing through measures such as privacy notices, rights handling workflows, access controls, retention practices, security safeguards, and cross-border transfer considerations. Depending on context, UpBlick may act as an independent controller for account and business administration data, and as a processor or service provider for personal data that customers choose to process through the Services.

3. India DPDP
Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules apply, UpBlick aims to process digital personal data in a manner consistent with applicable notice, consent, legitimate-use, security, retention, and grievance-handling requirements. Because legal obligations may vary depending on the role of the parties and the nature of the data, customers remain responsible for evaluating whether they act as the primary decision-maker for personal data and what obligations apply to their use of the Services.

- We support customer requests regarding access, correction, deletion, and grievance routing, subject to applicable law and role allocation.
4. Cookie and Consent Compliance
UpBlick aims to use notice and consent practices appropriate to the jurisdiction and technology involved. Where required, non-essential cookies and similar technologies should be deployed subject to appropriate user consent and preference management.
5. Google API and Google Business Profile Requirements
Where the Services connect to Google APIs or Google Business Profile, our use of Google user data is intended to remain limited to the user-facing features requested by the user and to the disclosures made in our published policies and in-product flows. We do not sell Google user data or use it for unrelated advertising purposes.
6. Security and Vendor Governance
Our security practices are described at a high level in our Data Safety page. We seek to use commercially appropriate vendors and service providers and to apply reasonable contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards to data processed through the Services.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Determine what laws and industry rules apply to your business and use case.
- Provide required privacy notices and obtain required consents from your customers, employees, and end users.
- Use the Services only for data and business listings you are authorized to manage.
- Configure access, retention, and review-request workflows appropriately for your compliance posture.
8. No Blanket Certification Claim
References to GDPR, DPDP, Google policy, or other frameworks on this page do not mean that UpBlick guarantees compliance for every customer, jurisdiction, or use case. Compliance depends on how the Services are configured and used, as well as the customer’s own legal obligations, internal processes, and contractual arrangements.
