Getting Started

Add a business location to UpBlick for the store, office, clinic, restaurant, or service point where customers interact with your business.

Each location keeps its Google listing, reviews, customers, review link, and performance information organized separately.

What is a business location?

A location represents one physical business address or customer service point. If your business operates from several branches, each branch should be added as a separate UpBlick location.

Why add your location?

  • Connect the correct public Google Places listing to UpBlick.
  • Track reviews, ratings, and customers for the location.
  • Use the correct Google Review Link in customer review requests.
  • Manage each branch separately when your business has multiple locations.

Before you start

Make sure you:

  • Are logged in to your UpBlick account.
  • Know the exact business name and address shown on Google Maps.
  • Can identify the correct branch if several locations have similar names.

How to add your business location

Step 1: Open Locations

From your UpBlick dashboard, select Locations in the sidebar.

The Locations page displays your total locations, ratings, reviews, customers, and existing location list.

Step 2: Select Add Location

Select Add Location above the location list. The Add Business page opens.

Step 3: Search for the business location

In Business Name, start typing the business or branch name. UpBlick displays matching results from Google Places.

Select the result whose business name and address match the location you want to add.

Step 4: Check the map and review link

After you select a Google Places result, UpBlick updates the map and fills in the available location details and Google Review Link.

Check that the map marker and review link belong to the correct business address.

Step 5: Add the location

Select Add Business. UpBlick saves the new location and returns you to the Locations page.

What happens next?

The location appears in your UpBlick location list. UpBlick then syncs available Google business details, reviews, and nearby competitor information in the background.

After the location is added, select Manage to complete its business profile, contact details, images, services, and social media links.

Tips

  • Compare the full address, not only the business name.
  • Add each physical branch as a separate location.
  • Test the Google Review Link before sharing it with customers.
  • Wait for the background sync to finish before checking all Google reviews and details.

Troubleshooting

Enter the complete business name and add the area or address to narrow the results. Confirm that the location is available on Google Maps.

Clear the selected business, search again, and choose the Google Places result with the correct full address.

Make sure you selected a result from Google Places instead of only typing the business name. If the link remains empty, add the correct Google Review Link and test it before use.

The same Google Places location is already connected to your UpBlick business. Return to Locations and open the existing location instead of adding it again.

Google details, reviews, and competitor information sync in the background after the location is saved. Allow the sync to finish, then check the location again.

Frequently asked questions

Should I add every branch as a separate location?

Yes. Add each physical branch separately so its reviews, customers, review link, and performance remain connected to the correct address.

Does adding a location claim it on Google?

No. Selecting a public Google Places listing adds it to UpBlick. It does not claim or verify ownership of the Google Business Profile.

Can two locations use the same Google Review Link?

Each Google Business Profile location normally has its own review link. Use the link that belongs to the exact branch you added.

Can I update the location after adding it?

Yes. Select Manage for the location to update its settings and business profile.
