UpBlick customer activity helps your team understand how a customer has interacted with your business over time. You can use it to review reviews, feedback, communication history, last interaction timing, sentiment, and other record details before taking the next action.

Where customer activity appears

Open Customers, find the customer, and open the customer details page. The customer details view combines summary information with tabs such as Reviews, Feedback, Notes, Files, Communications, and Activity.

Communications Review requests, reminders, thank-you messages, or other follow-up communication. Helps avoid duplicate or poorly timed outreach.
Activity timeline Customer actions and interactions across time. Helps you see the order of events before taking action.
Source and consent How the customer was added, primary location, and consent status when available. Helps your team confirm whether outreach is appropriate.

How to use customer activity

  • Check whether the customer already received a review request.
  • Review previous feedback before responding or escalating.
  • See when the last interaction happened.
  • Check sentiment and rating before sending a reminder.
  • Review consent status before contacting the customer again.
  • Understand whether the customer came from import, manual entry, Google, or another source when source data is available.

Why customer activity matters

Customer activity helps your team act with more context. Instead of guessing whether a customer was already contacted or whether they had a poor experience, you can check the record first and choose a more appropriate next step.

Examples of useful activity checks

  • Before sending a reminder, check whether a recent review request already exists.
  • Before asking for a new review, check whether the customer already reviewed the business.
  • Before responding to a complaint, review the feedback and communication history.
  • Before using a phone number or email, confirm that it is current and that consent is still valid.

Best practices

  • Review the customer’s last interaction before follow-up.
  • Use activity and communications together so you do not message the customer twice unnecessarily.
  • Use review and feedback history to understand context before replying.
  • Check source and consent details before outreach.
  • Keep customer contact details updated so activity stays useful.

Troubleshooting

The customer may be new, may not have received messages yet, or may not have submitted feedback or reviews. Check the available tabs to see which parts of the record already exist.

Check the customer name, contact details, primary location, and source. If the record is wrong, update it before sending any new communication.

Open the Reviews, Feedback, Communications, and Activity tabs together. Looking at one tab alone may not show the full customer journey.
