How to Edit Customer Details?
CustomersEdit customer details when a name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, tag, or other customer information needs to be corrected. Keeping customer records accurate helps UpBlick send messages to the right person and report activity under the correct location.
Step 1: Open Customers
From the UpBlick sidebar, select Customers. Confirm that the correct location is selected before searching for the customer.
Step 2: Find the customer
Use the customer list, search field, or filters to find the customer. You can usually search by details such as name, phone number, WhatsApp number, or email address.
Step 3: Open the customer record
Select the customer name or the available action for that row to open the customer record. If you manage many locations, make sure you are editing the customer under the correct location.
Step 4: Update the details
Update only the fields that need to change. Depending on your account setup, editable customer fields may include:
- Title and customer name.
- Phone code and mobile number.
- WhatsApp number.
- Email address.
- Tags or customer grouping details.
- Status, notes, or other available customer information.
Step 5: Review consent and communication preferences
If you update a phone number, WhatsApp number, or email address, confirm that the customer has agreed to be contacted through that channel. Do not use outdated or unverified contact details for review requests or business communication.
Step 6: Save changes
Select Save Changes or the available save option. After saving, return to the customer list and search for the customer again if you want to confirm the update.

Troubleshooting
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a customer after sending a review request?
Yes. Updating the customer record helps future communication, but it may not change a request that has already been sent.
Can I change the customer’s location?
If your account provides a location field or move option, update it carefully. If not, recreate the customer under the correct location and avoid sending messages from the wrong branch.
Will editing a customer automatically send a review request?
No. Editing customer details does not automatically send a review request unless you choose a separate send-request action.
